Markus has worked for Anglo since 2002 on a number Greenfields and Brownfields projects in Africa. In more recent times he held the positions of Exploration Manager for Namibia, Geology Manager for the Gamsberg Prefeasibility Study, and since beginning of 2010 is the Exploration Manager for Greenfields Projects in Africa.  Markus holds a PhD from the University of Johannesburg and a MSc from Freiberg University in Germany.
