Mr Stephen Parsons is the Managing Director of the Perth based mineral exploration company, Gryphon Minerals Limited.  Gryphon successfully listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in April 2004 with a number of high quality nickel and gold exploration projects located within Western Australia. 

Gryphon is currently exploring the exciting Banfora Gold Project, located adjacent to the multi million ounce world class gold mines of Syama, Morilla and Tongon within Burkina Faso, West Africa and the Company’s major shareholders include Newmont Mining Corporation, Dundee Precious Metals, Macquarie Bank and Rand Merchant Bank.

 Stephen graduated from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand with an Honours degree in Geology.  Before listing Gryphon Minerals, he has held technical positions for a number of exploration companies that included Rio Tinto CRAE, Placer Dome and Platinum Australia.
