Mr Stephen Parsons is the Managing Director and founder of Gryphon Minerals Limited, a company focussed on advancing the Banfora Gold Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa. 

In the last two years Gryphon Minerals has discovered a resource base of over 1 million and has built a strong cash balance of over 20 million dollars, and a world class shareholder base that includes the likes of the World Bank, Dundee, RBC and Macquarie Bank to name a few.

Steve graduated from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand with an Honours degree in Geology.  Before listing Gryphon Minerals, he has held technical positions for a number of companies that included Rio Tinto and Placer Dome.
