Additional Meetings and Functions 2019

A range of additional meetings and social functions will be held during the conference. ADU forms the central pillar of “Africa Week”, which comprises a full week of satellite events on research, education, infrastructure, sustainable development, capacity building and energy.

  • Succeeding Beyond Borders
    This conference will take place over two days prior to Africa Down Under.  The Conference aims to promote knowledge with the aim of contributing positively to the Australian and African economy. It will also encourage and enhance research on economic, governance and policy issues relating to the development of African economies.  Please view the website for further informaton.

  • AAMEG AFRICA AWARDS CEREMONY
    Please join AAMEG to celebrate excellence in the Australia Africa mining industry at the inaugural 2019 AAMEG Africa Awards from 17:00 on Wednesday 4 September. Hosted as part of the official Africa Down Under Conference proceedings, finalists will be recognised and winners announced on the main stage, followed by networking drinks in the exhibition area. All members and non-members are welcome.
