The Australian Government has a comprehensive anti-corruption system for Australian
organisations. However, recent developments have led Australia to re-evaluate its Anti-Bribery
laws. In particular, the treatment of ‘facilitation payments’ which are often necessary to
operate in Africa, due to the lack of resources available from local governments.
