The Australia-Africa Business Council of Western Australia aims to unite business communities on both continents. Each year the business council organises a series of events and networking opportunities for existing and new members including their annual breakfast at the Africa Down Under Conference.

Gabon was considered to be the wealthiest mining region of West Africa but the country remained mostly unexplored due to a lack of infrastructure.
According to a strategic plan to increase its mining industry, Gabon has built more roads last year than during the last ten years, opening the way to unleash the huge mining potential.
The Minister for Mines, HE Regis Immongault, will be making a presentation about his country’s future potential to interested conference delegates from both government and industry.
