Sabre Resources Ltd

Tim Putt is the Chief Executive Officer of Namibian base-metal explorer and ASX-listed, Sabre Resources Ltd. Tim is a geologist with over 20 years of experience in exploration and mining across a range of commodities including precious and base metals as well as iron ore and uranium. Tim is also a Member of the Society of Economic Geologists and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

He was member of the team that identified and acquired Sabre’s initial ground holding in the Otavi Mountain Land, in northern Namibia, in 2007. However between 2008 and mid 2012 Tim left the group and was the Technical Director of emerging producer, Amex Resources Ltd, where he lead the technical team in the identification, exploration and feasibility studies over the Ba Delta ironsand project in the Fiji Islands.

Tim returned to Sabre in 2012, playing a key role in the recent acquisition of the Otavi Valley Copper tenement. Sabre has since made a number of discoveries within the Otavi Valley, with a focus on the Guchab Copper Mining Centre where exploration continues to deliver promising results from the Guchab Canyon and Schlangental Valley.
